Smith, is a multidisciplinary strategist with more than 25 years of experience guiding organizations through complex financial, operational, and strategic challenges in the financial services, healthcare, government, real estate, hospitality, construction, and infrastructure development industries.

Shawn serves as an Executive Business Consultant to CEOs and Boards of Directors. He provides strategic advisory, business consulting, contract negotiation, regulatory relations, conflict resolution, and interim CFO support to private, public, and government clients. He has worked across several Fortune 500 and global organizations, including Bank of America, JPMorgan, and Ernst & Young (EY), where he gained extensive training and experience in auditing, performance improvement, and financial services.

A licensed Chartered Accountant in The Bahamas and a PA, Shawn is currently a CA and CPA in addition to his CFE designation. He holds multiple Bachelor’s degrees across Accounting, Finance, International Business, Marketing, and Criminology, reflecting his broad analytical foundation and holistic approach to organizational leadership.

With over 10 years in the payments space, Shawn has lots of experience in Central Bank Digital Currency. He played a key role in the implementation and rollout of the world's first CBDC in the Bahamas.
